Jasan Gymnasium Officially Unveiled at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University

On October 31, 2026, as Zhejiang Sci-Tech University marked its 129th anniversary, the naming and unveiling ceremony of the “Jasan Gymnasium” was held on campus as part of the university’s anniversary celebrations.

Guo Xianghong, Executive Vice President of Zhejiang Jasan Group Co., Ltd., and Gao Qianmin, Director of the Group Office, attended the ceremony together with Zhao Quanjun, Party Secretary, and Academician Chen Wenxing, President, from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Over 700 representatives from both sides, faculty members and students also joined the event and witnessed the unveiling.

Guo Xianghong, Executive Vice President of Jasan Group, is a distinguished alumna of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Class of 1978. She has remained closely connected to her alma mater and has long supported the university’s talent development and broader growth.

Over the years, Jasan Group has donated more than RMB 20 million to Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. The two sides have jointly established the Sports Fashion Research Institute and the Jasan Education Fund, while deepening cooperation through donations, platform building, scholarships and student support, internships, and employment opportunities.

She noted that the naming of the gymnasium brings together two forms of spirit: the craftsmanship and long-term commitment behind textile manufacturing, and the determination and resilience embodied in sport. She encouraged students to pursue academic excellence, strengthen both body and character, and continue growing into well-rounded young professionals.

As a university with strong expertise in textiles and apparel, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University has long-standing strengths in textile science and engineering, fashion design, and creative fashion studies. The official unveiling of the Jasan Gymnasium marks another milestone in Jasan Group’s support for the university and in the continued development of their partnership.
