CCTV: China just announced that President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin will visit China. How does China view its relations with Switzerland? What’s China’s expectation of this visit?
郭嘉昆：中方欢迎瑞士联邦主席帕姆兰来华访问。习近平主席将同他会见。
Guo Jiakun: We welcome President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin to visit China. President Xi Jinping will meet with him.
今年是中国同瑞士建立创新战略伙伴关系10周年。当前，中瑞关系发展良好，各领域合作成果丰硕，特别是自贸合作成为两国关系最大亮点。瑞士是最早同中国签订自贸协定的欧洲大陆国家，协定生效10多年来，为中瑞双边经贸往来发挥了积极推动作用。今年8月，瑞士再次成为率先同中方完成自贸协定升级谈判的欧洲国家。中方愿同瑞方一道，以稳健的中瑞关系为两国人民创造更多福祉、为双方企业提供更多优惠便利条件、为世界经济发展注入更多确定性。
This year marks the 10th anniversary of China-Switzerland innovative strategic partnership. At present, China-Switzerland relations maintain sound growth momentum, with fruitful cooperation in various areas. In particular, our cooperation on free trade has become the biggest highlight of the bilateral ties. Switzerland is the first country on the European continent to sign a free trade agreement with China. Since its entry into effect over a decade ago, the agreement has greatly facilitated the business exchanges between the two countries. In August this year, Switzerland became the first European country to complete the negotiations on an upgrade of the free trade agreement with China. China will work with Switzerland to bring more benefits to our two peoples, more convenience to our business communities, and more certainty to the growth of world economy through stable China-Switzerland relations.
路透社记者：德国总理默茨昨天在新加坡发表演讲，呼吁欧洲和亚洲的中等强国在贸易、技术和安全领域建立战略联盟。他警告称，尽管同中国全面经济脱钩将会是“一个错误”，但欧洲和亚洲必须减少“不健康的单方面依赖”。在谈及德国对华政策时，他称政策已趋于成熟，并同欧盟对华政策保持一致。中方对默茨的表态有何评论？
Reuters: German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has called on European and Asian middle powers to build a strategic alliance in trade, technology and security in his speech in Singapore yesterday. And even though he warned that a full economic decoupling from China would be “a mistake,” he said that Europe and Asia must reduce “unhealthy, one-sided dependencies.” On Germany’s policy towards China, he described it as “coming of age” and aligned with the EU. On all these points that Mr. Merz made, what is the foreign ministry’s comment?
郭嘉昆：中方一贯主张开放合作，致力于同各方一道维护全球产业链供应链稳定安全，为世界经济提供更多动能与确定性。中德、中欧经济互补、产业互嵌，务实合作的底色是互利共赢。希望德方、欧方保持客观理性，同中方相向而行，成为彼此可信赖、可预测的合作伙伴，通过对话磋商化解矛盾分歧，共同维护全球产业链供应链稳定畅通，为企业合作提供更多确定性。
Guo Jiakun: China stands for openness and cooperation, and stays committed to working with all parties to keep global industrial and supply chains stable and secure and inject more impetus and certainty into world economy. Between China and Germany and between China and Europe, there is a high degree of economic complementarity. Our industries are mutually embedded and our practical cooperation is mutually beneficial. It is hoped that Germany and the EU will stay objective and rational, and work in the same direction with China, so that we can be each other’s trustworthy and predictable partners, resolve differences and disputes through dialogue and consultation, keep the global industrial and supply chains stable and unimpeded, and provide more certainty for cooperation between our business communities.
法新社记者：法国球员姆巴佩昨天已就不当言论道歉。他称言论欠妥，如今明白这些话伤害了中国人民以及世界各地的华人社区。中方如何看待他的道歉？（路透社记者亦问及）

中阿卫视记者：当地时间10月27日，也门胡塞武装称，该组织使用弹道导弹和无人机袭击了沙特国防部、首都的机场及炼油厂等目标，并成功击中目标。中方对此有何评论？
China-Arab TV: On October 27 local time, Yemen’s Houthis claimed to have hit Saudi Arabia’s defence ministry building, airport and oil refinery in the capital with ballistic missiles and drones. What is China’s comment?
郭嘉昆：中方对地区局势持续紧张深表关切，反对攻击民航机场等民用目标，呼吁有关方面通过对话谈判化解争端，推动尽早恢复中东地区和平安宁。
Guo Jiakun: China is deeply concerned over the continued tensions in the region. We oppose attacks against civilian airports and other civilian facilities, and call on relevant parties to resolve disputes through dialogue and negotiation and restore peace and tranquility to the Middle East at an early date.
